Earlier this month we had the pleasure of catering in the Loft at 600F again for a corporate event for Facebook & Instagram. After doing our launch party (and Marigold & Grey’s launch party) at the Loft, we couldn’t wait to get back to their space. The event featured officials from all over the world, music and a workshop. We were thrilled to do the food and wanted to share a quick recap of some of the dishes we served.
First up, our Bourbon Bacon Jam Crostinis – sweet meets salty with a crunch – and our Tiny Tostadas served with crumbled Cotija cheese and aji verde.
Then our miniature grilled adobo steak Quesadillas topped with tomatillo salsa, grilled Cubanos (with Gordy’s Pickle Jar sweet chips) which were a huge hit at our launch party along with the Smoked Cheddar Mac n’ Cheese Fritters with an sweet parsley sauce.
And we finished it off with our own twist on a Lynchburg lemonade: District Lemonade featuring One Eight Distillery‘s Rock Creek White Whiskey infused with citrus and served with fresh squeezed lemonade and mint simple syrup – the perfect refreshing treat to accompany the meal. (And how cute are those napkins which had the Facebook logo on one side and Instagram on the other?).
As you can see, we love to pair our boutique bites with unique serving pieces. This enhances the style and look while making it easy and approachable for the guests. Overall, it was a simple, yet memorable, menu that even Instagram thought was Instagram-worthy!
